Quick & Cheap Chocolate-y Gift Idea - *Happy Holidays!*

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

    • (dark) chocolate
    • jam / nut butter
    • chopped: almonds / nuts / dried berries
    • candle holders
    • parchment or colored paper
    • gift tape

Hello sweeties and welcome back, or welcome at all if you have just stumbled upon my blog and the weekly experiments and rambling that come with it.
Hope your run-up to the holidays is being as stressless as possible, unlike mine!
I heard that chorus of "yeah right...". Come here, let me hug you, feel free to vent, you can find understanding here. And chocolate: just saying.
Speaking of which, with this post I'm hoping to give you a quick, pretty and yummy idea for a last minute simple gift.
You will need these super easy 3-ingredient-chocolates (that you can fill with any jam or nut butter of your choice) and candle holders to put the choco-cups in.
The ones you see in the pic are from Ikea, you can get them for a bunch of $/€ really, there are many other pretty ones aswell. Or you could use colorful glass candle holders too
You put the chocolates in some colored/parchment paper, into the candle holder and add a nice bow.
And that's it. I love scented candles myself, but I think that someone receiving this would definitely enjoy the surprise of homemade, yummy, comforting chocolates <3 (and they can be made free from allergens too, so even better).
And the candle holders can be used for a bunch of other different things, I use one of those in the photo as a teaspoons holder for instance, but they could hold pens, make-up, a tiny plant!

So, I hope you like this idea and don't forget to make some extra chocolates for youselves too, because you are awesome and I know you always take care of everything and everyone, so take a moment for youself, sit down, sip a cup of hot tea or coffee, and nibble at these choco-cups, enjoying the moment 😉

I'm wishing you the best holidays ever, whatever you are celebrating at this time of the year all over the world, I wish you serenity and love and strength and a fantastic New Year !

Warm bear hugs from Italy to you all! <3

    Ciao!
    Sonia
